Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government issued a document to commend the outstanding enterprises, advanced individuals and advanced units of the "Jiangsu Manufacturing Outstanding Contribution Award". Dr. Zhang Yilin, Chief Executive Officer of Schaeffler Greater China, was awarded the title of "Advanced Individual of Jiangsu Manufacturing Outstanding Contribution Award".

The "Jiangsu Manufacturing Outstanding Contribution Award" aims to recognize outstanding enterprises, individuals and units that have made outstanding contributions to the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province. Dr. Zhang Yilin received this award, representing a high recognition of his contribution to the development of high-end, intelligent and green manufacturing.

 

 

 

 

Throughout his career of more than 30 years, Dr. Zhang Yilin has always been committed to corporate technological advancement and product innovation, combining German technological advantages with Chinese manufacturing to provide customers with high-quality products and proximity services through local R&D and production. Schaeffler's presence in China has been continuously improved, with 10 plants in the country, and is continuously accelerating its business expansion to help China's high quality economic development.

Under the leadership of Dr. Zhang Yilin, Schaeffler has continued to plough deep in the field of intelligent manufacturing and accelerated the construction of intelligent factories, and has been awarded "Model Intelligent Workshop in Jiangsu Province", "Suzhou Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transformation Benchmark Enterprise", "National Intelligent Manufacturing Standard Application Pilot" and "National Intelligent Manufacturing Standard Application Pilot". It has been awarded the titles of "Jiangsu Province Model Smart Workshop", "Suzhou Smart Transformation and Digital Transformation Benchmark Enterprise" and "National Smart Manufacturing Standard Application Pilot Project". In addition, Dr. Zhang Yilin actively promotes the sustainable development of the enterprise and builds a sustainable factory through the green production concept. The company has won the honours of "Suzhou Environmentally Trusted Enterprise" and "Energy-saving Carrier of Jiangsu Province".

In 2021, Schaeffler's 2-in-1 electric drive axle will be put into production in Taicang, and in 2022, the P1 hybrid module will be mass-produced in Taicang. These achievements fully reflect Schaeffler's continuous strengthening of its technological advantages to help the transformation and upgrading of China's intelligent manufacturing.
