On 9th April, Vice President Zhao Qingtao of SKF (China) Co., Ltd. led a team to visit China Circular Economy Association, and Executive Vice President Zhao Kai received and had a discussion and exchange.

Vice President Zhao Qingtao introduced the development history of SKF Group and the development of SKF (China) Co. He pointed out that the headquarters of SKF Group was established in 1907 in Goteborg, Sweden, after more than 100 years of development, the current business in 130 countries around the world, the annual production of more than 500 million bearings, the sales network all over the world. 1997 SKF (China) Ltd. was formally established, and subsequently set up 13 subsidiaries and other subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shandong, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Guangdong and other provinces and cities successively. Ltd. was established in 1997, followed by 13 subsidiaries and 9 branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shandong, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Hubei, Sichuan and Guangdong, etc. SKF China mainly provides products and total solutions related to rotary bearings, including bearings, seals, lubrication management, artificial intelligence and condition monitoring. SKF in China region actively responded to the Chinese government's extended producer responsibility system initiative, in recent years in the gradual development of waste bearings, gaskets and lubricating fluids, such as the recovery of recycling work, in order to improve the efficiency of resource recycling. He hoped that SKF China could get guidance and assistance from the China Circular Economy Association in the process of building a closed-loop chain of recycling of bearings, gaskets and lubricating fluids, and creating a multinational benchmark enterprise for pollution reduction and carbon synergy, so that it could do its part to realise China's "double-carbon" goal on schedule.

Executive Vice President Zhao Kai expressed his warm welcome to Vice President Zhao Qingtao's visit to the association and introduced the overall situation of the association and some of the work carried out in recent years in the construction of the association, scientific and technological services, international exchanges and co-operation, as well as the results achieved. He thanked Vice President Zhao Qingtao for his recognition and affirmation of the Association, and pointed out that SKF Group is a multinational enterprise with a hundred years of history, especially since the establishment of SKF (China) in the 1990s, it has contributed stable and reliable bearings, gaskets and lubricating fluids and other series of products for China's industrial development, and in recent years, it actively practices China's green and low-carbon development strategy, and devotes itself to the transformation of the products to be intelligent, green, low-carbon and recyclable. In recent years, the company has been actively implementing China's green and low-carbon development strategy, committing itself to the transformation of its products into smart, green, low-carbon and recyclable products, as well as to the whole-life-cycle management of raw materials and products, and the recycling of end-of-life products. He said that China Circular Economy Association can give full play to the advantages of high-end think tank and service platform to help SKF (China) accelerate the construction of the recycling system of scrap bearing steel, and promote the overall green and low-carbon transformation of SKF (China) manufacturing and supply chain. At the same time, he hoped that SKF (China), as a leading enterprise in the professional field, should give full play to the advantages of multinational corporations in terms of powerful human and material resources and financial resources, and actively participate in the relevant work of the China Circular Economy Association, and jointly contribute to the development of China's recycling economy in terms of the construction of the recycling system of scrap metal and the promotion of the high-quality development of "urban minerals" bases and recycling bases, such as the recycling economy industrial parks. We will actively participate in the relevant work of China Circular Economy Association and make due contribution to the comprehensive green transformation of China.
