On December 7, 2022, the 7th China Innovation Challenge (Ningbo) was successfully held. 23 major technology requirements were released and 96 technology teams from around the world were shortlisted for the on-site competition.

Hendi Wang, Deng Si Er, Wenhu Zhang and Ruijie Xie, representing the R&D technology innovation team of special bearings, participated in this challenge. The team competed with 9 teams from top universities and research institutes in China. After an intense presentation, defense, expert scoring and enterprise consultation, Henan University of Science and Technology won the winning prize for the technical solution with the highest score. The total investment of the project is 23 million RMB, of which 3 million RMB is funded by the government and 20 million RMB is self-financed by the enterprise. The implementation of the project can provide original technological innovation for China's bearing automatic vibration measurement technology and enhance the ability of Henan University of Science and Technology to transform scientific and technological achievements and serve the society.

Note: The China Innovation Challenge is a national event guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology and hosted by the Torch Centre of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the local government, which aims to solve the technical problems of the transformation and upgrading of enterprises and promote the in-depth cooperation between industry, academia and research through the way of "unveiling the list and hanging the command" and global technical teams competing on the same stage.
