On August 28, SKF's AEM Silent Bearing Customer Event Day, themed “Silence Never Stops,” was successfully held at the SKF Xinchang Factory. Co-hosted by SKF and its authorized partner Nanjing Dingyang Technology, the event brought together nearly 20 premium customers and industry experts from the motor and pump sectors. Participants discussed innovations in silent bearing technology and industry trends while immersing themselves in SKF's localized R&D and manufacturing capabilities under its “Smart•Clean” strategy.

 

This event not only represents a significant initiative in SKF's integrated approach to both original equipment and aftermarket solutions, but also enables customers to gain a deep understanding of the core value delivered by AEM silent bearings and the new angular contact ball bearing solutions through technical sharing and on-site demonstrations.

At the event's commencement, Teng Zhengji, Vice President of SKF China, delivered an opening address. From dual perspectives of brand heritage and industry responsibility, he articulated SKF's steadfast commitment to and breakthroughs in “silent” technology.

Subsequently, Liang Guoyin, SKF's Regional and Emerging Business Director, shared insights on SKF's localized operations in China. The Xinchang factory, serving as SKF's largest global R&D and manufacturing center for ball bearings, has also been honored with the title of “Zhejiang Provincial Green and Low-Carbon Factory.” It not only functions as the core production base for AEM silent bearings but also carries the mission of implementing SKF's “Smart•Clean” growth strategy.

Factory Tour: Witnessing the Intelligence and Sustainability of the “Factory of the Future”

 

During the latter part of the event, clients toured SKF's Xinchang factory to observe its intelligent production lines up close. They witnessed the entire manufacturing process of products like AEM silent bearings: fully automated ultra-precision machines performing precise operations, vibration detection equipment displaying real-time bearing data, and AGV carts transporting materials along pre-set tracks. The entire workshop operated in quiet order, challenging the conventional image of industrial factories filled with machinery clamor.
