
On October 30, 2025, the SKF China and Northeast Asia Supplier Conference concluded successfully at the shores of Dianshan Lake. Centered on the theme “Innovate Together, Expand Horizons, Prosper Together,” the event brought together representatives from over 100 global suppliers to explore industry trends and future collaboration opportunities.

They engaged in face-to-face discussions with supplier partners to chart a path toward high-quality development for sustainable supply chains.

In his address, Wang Hui, President of SKF China and Northeast Asia, stated that over the past two years, SKF has achieved significant reductions in operational costs through technological innovation and close collaboration with supplier partners, driven by a spirit of “embracing competition and pushing boundaries.” Simultaneously, SKF has shifted its approach from “self-centered” to “inclusive,” actively incorporating innovative achievements from Chinese suppliers to enhance the core competitiveness of its supply chain in China and Northeast Asia.
He emphasized that in today’s moderate growth market environment, SKF will steadfastly pursue its four strategic directions: deepening local operations, product leadership, digitalization, and operational excellence. In his thematic presentation, Jin Xin, Vice President of Supply Chain Excellence for SKF China and Northeast Asia, emphasized that in response to the new global normal characterized by “fragility, anxiety, non-linearity, and uncertainty,” SKF will center its efforts around “new quality productivity,” focusing on six key areas: ultimate quality, deep specialization, cost efficiency, collaborative R&D, digital services, and green manufacturing. Together with our supplier partners, we will build a more resilient supply chain.

At the meeting, Dr. Qian Weihua, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of SKF China, shared SKF’s “three key drivers” for technological innovation: new product development, enhancement of existing products, and rapid iteration. He explained that SKF has established a localized engineering capability center in China integrating application, fundamental research, product design, and testing simulation. Through collaborative technological innovation to create disruptive products, SKF will navigate market cycles alongside all partners to deliver exceptional value for customers.
